SUMMER 2026 CAORLE SEAFRONT Bruno Catalano's Travelers are figures immortalized in sculpture in the midst of a long journey, the duration, origin, and destination of which remain unknown to us. In his work, these men and women drawn from the world of everyday life take on a heroic dimension and become symbols of continuity and transformation. With their monumental stature, they explore and narrate the universal themes of human existence: identity, migration, and the journey itself. These individuals carry fragments of life and history within their baggage. Their destiny is inevitably linked to their roots, keeping them in a precarious balance between past and future. Bruno Catalano represents human beings, suspended figures traveling, traversed by light, wind, and gaze. Unfinished bodies where the missing parts become windows through which we can recognize ourselves, metaphors of movement and connection with the journey of life. The new exhibition Etruschi e Veneti. Acque, culti e santuari, hosted in the rooms of the Doge’s Apartment at the Doge’s Palace from 6 March to 29 September 2026, takes as its starting point the concept of the sacred in the Etruscan world, examining the many forms and expressions of worship connected with water.
From May 6th to November 22nd, the Fortuny Museum will host Erwin Wurm's exhibition, a large-scale monographic exhibition, the first in Italy, dedicated to the work of the Austrian sculptor.
